On London Fashion Week Sundays, it always feels a little like dress down day – in as much as it can when you are attending 14+ fashion shows in a day, including Mulberry’s extravaganza at Claridge’s and Jonathan Saunders’ hot ticket runway show, and going backstage at Topshop Unique to do a backstage beauty story with Sam McKnight, and with Hannah Murray.
So Sunday + running around = trouser day – especially as the day started at the glorious Margaret Howell show (I’d quite like to live in her world). I paired my grey silk Theory double breasted jacket (a bargain from the Bicester Village outlet; there is something similar at The Outnet here) with Uniqlo dark denim cigarette pants, cropped above the ankle, an Equipment White Jewel Collar Blouse, courtesy of the sample rail at My Wardrobe,
With a shirt as decorative as this, any other jewellery seemed redundant, so I just added a pair of borrowed Toms Sunglasses (the Classic 101), (due to launch here in the UK imminently).
As I am lucky enough to be sponsored by Mercedes at LFW, I can leave all my cr*p in the car between shows, so I didn’t bother with a bag, and just carried my Samsung Galaxy tablet in its lovely Bottega Veneta Intrecciato leather tablet sleeve.
